Our
adult class schedule includes personal
improvement, health occupations, and computer classes. Classes are held at the Grand River Technical School unless otherwise
noted. Formation of night classes depends on sufficient enrollment. Classes will meet as
scheduled unless you are notified otherwise.
Class
fees are due at time of enrollment. Fees can be paid by cash, check,
or credit card. No refunds are made after the first class session.
Refunds may take up to six weeks to process.
Enrollment is accepted on
a first-paid basis. Certificates will be given to persons attending 90% of the class
sessions. In case of inclement weather, cancellations will be announced on KTTN, KCHI, and KMZU. Eating and drinking are not permitted in any classroom
or shop; a break room is available. Smoking is not permitted in Chillicothe
R-II school buildings.
Call
the GRTS office at 660-646-3414 to request an Adult Class
registration form or complete our short
online form and mail with the appropriate class fee to Adult
Education, Grand River Technical School, 1200 Fair St., Chillicothe,
MO 64601. You may also enroll in person at the Grand River Technical School, 1200 Fair
Street, Chillicothe, Missouri 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday. If
you are paying by credit card, you may register by phone.
Enrollment
deadline is five (5) days before class starts. Enrollment
confirmation is not mailed. Plan to attend the first meeting of
class unless otherwise notified. You may call the school at 646-3414
to check on the status of the class or your enrollment status.
Refund
Policy
Refunds
are made only with the following conditions:
- If
the class is filled before your enrollment is received.
- If
a class is cancelled due to lack of significant enrollment.
- If
a refund is requested before the class meets.
No
refunds are made after the first class session. (May take 6 weeks to
process.)

learn to play the guitar or learn basic sign language skills, GRTS adult and community ed
classes offer something for everyone!
All classes require paid pre-registration so call or stop by the Grand River Technical School before
the deadline for the first session of courses.
