The field of Information Technology is an ever-changing and challenging career field that can be very satisfying and rewarding.
IT Technicians, Computer Repair Technicians, and Computer Networking Technicians are in great demand throughout the country. Grand River Technical School offers training for certification in several different areas that is recognized nationally and worldwide. The program is open to all high school junior and senior students. Prior computer operation experience is beneficial, but not required. Students attend 3 hours per day during their junior and senior years to complete the program (1,080 hours of instruction). Classes begin in August.

Earning a CompTIA Network+ certification ensures that a candidate can describe the features and functions of networking components and possesses the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols, and services.
