Buzz Buddies is an exciting cross-grade partnership program at CES for our K-5 students. In this initiative, upper-grade classrooms team up with lower-grade classrooms, creating countless opportunities for meaningful collaboration. Whether it’s reading, writing, performing plays, exploring science projects, taking brain breaks, or engaging in other activities, these pairings encourage connection and teamwork. Through this collaboration, students will build a stronger sense of community while embracing the idea that they are “Individually Unique... Together Complete.”
As a bonus, teachers have the chance to connect with future students or reconnect with former ones, fostering relationships that benefit everyone!
Today, Buzz Buddies from Mrs. Dodson's 4th grade class and Miss Book's 1st grade class
read books together and asked their buddies some questions to get to know them!

Happy National Substitute Teacher Day! We are so grateful for our incredible substitute teachers who step in to support our students and ensure learning continues when our teachers and staff are away. Here are some of our amazing CES substitutes!
