Over the weekend, Chillicothe High School (CHS) Art students participated in the MEC Fine Arts Festival, joining a juried exhibit that showcased student talent from across the region.

This year’s festival featured nine schools and a total of 122 artworks, displayed across nine art categories. CHS students contributed a strong showing of creativity and craftsmanship, representing the district with pride.

CHS artists who participated include: Brooklyn Cashatt, Kadence Clark, Salem Curl, Evey Daffern, Olivia Jenkins, Emerie Kale, Akira Lee, Vivian Miller, Sterling Richey, Landon Thompson, Kennley VanDusen, Keeley Ward, Elanor Washburne, Kierra Williams, Glenna Barnett, Abby Marshall, Chloe Gray, and Jackson Fagan.

CHS also earned multiple recognitions during the festival:

In addition, the People’s Choice Award was presented to Kierra Williams, a CHS junior. CHS is especially proud to note that our students have received the People’s Choice Award three of the past five years at the MEC Fine Arts Festival.
