Congratulations to Ely Judy, Summer Doupe, Quintyn Zullig, Landon Ruppel, Ace Konopasek, Trace Akers, and John Bevellle; they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified as doing the following;
Ely Judy—After the 8th hour ended, several students left without putting their chairs on the table so that the floors were clear for the custodians to clean. Ely stayed after class and after school to put the rest up so the custodian or I wouldn't have to, and the floors could be cleaned properly.
Summer Doupe-Summer saw a coffee spill in the hallway and took the initiative to get paper towels and clean it up even though it wasn't her mess.
Quintyn Zullig-Quintyn helped a student up after he fell and made sure the student was okay after he had helped him up.
Landon Ruppel- Another student wanted a scratch art paper (prize from winning games in class). Landon had won two and happily handed over one of his prizes to the student.
Ace Konopasek-Ace saw I was behind him this morning while walking into school, and he waited to hold the door open for me.
Trace Akers - During a class demonstration the sun was coming through the window and shining off the floor and right into my eyes. I mentioned it in class and Trace popped up and slid a backpack over the spot of the floor fixing the problem.
John Bevelle -As soon as John walks into class, he goes out of his way to talk to me and ask me how my day is going and then proceeds to sit my favorite drink down on my desk and say "This is for you for being a good teacher"
If you see them, please feel free to congratulate them on showing high character while at CHS.
Hornets on Top!

Chloe Gray - Chloe held the doors open for students entering from another school building for an event at CHS.
Mason Eckert - The class was having a hard time with a computer software issue and Mason was able to solve the issue through thinking on his toes. He came up with a solution for a problem by thinking on his toes and he saved the day for the rest of the class so they could move forward with the project without the software issue being a problem.
Torrie Taylor - Torrie complimented another student on her outfit and said she is always nice to others.
Garrett Clevenger - Several student chairs were still stacked in a teacher's room after an event. Garrett put all the chairs out for the teacher on his own.

Caden Kanniainen and Kylee Link: They took it upon themselves to clean the counters in the art room and return unused supplies.
Sadie Bonderer - Sadie helped move sideline bench chairs after an athletic event to the gym storage area. Everyone in the gym was standing around. Sadie stepped up and helped when and where she saw that help was needed.
Luke Thompson - A student was hit in the face playing dodgeball and Luke went right up to her and asked her if she was ok.
Howie Donoho - Howie noticed an elderly gentleman exiting with a walker. He quickly jumped up to clear chairs out of the way to make an easy path for him to get through.
