Congratulations to the Chillicothe High School baseball team. With their 5-3 victory over Benton in the sectionals, they have advanced to state quarterfinal play in baseball for the first time in school history. They will play on Thursday evening; the opponent and location are to be determined. If Summit Christian wins in the other sectional, Chillicothe will travel to Summit Christian on Thursday evening. If Pleasant Hill wins in the other sectional, Chillicothe will host Pleasant Hill on Thursday evening. The winner of the state quarterfinal on Thursday advances to the MSHSAA Class 4 state championship semifinals.

🏆🎉 Big news! The CHS Hornets have set a school record for wins in a season and clinched their 3rd district title in baseball with an 11-1 victory over Savannah in the Class 4 District 16 championship! 🐝⚾️ They play in Sectionals on Tuesday!

Congratulations to the Chillicothe High School baseball team, with the 11-1 victory over Savannah, they are district champions! Chillicothe will play in the sectionals vs the class 4 district 15 winner on the road on May 27, opponent T.B.D.

Congratulations to Amber Ford, Mark Rickert, and Caden Depee, they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified as doing the following;
Amber Ford - Amber found a school calculator off campus and returned it to me, realizing it belonged somewhere in the D-wing.
Mark Rickert - At the end of track practice, Mark picked up all the starting blocks that everyone else had left out.
Caden Depee noticed a drink leaking out of a locker and came to ask for paper towels to clean it up.
