Congratulations to John Bevelle, Quintyn Chapman, Aubree Chromey, McKayla Eads-Bryant, Kirkland Christy, Ely Judy, and Aubrey Moss, they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified as doing the following;
John Bevelle - Helped put up all the chairs after class and picked up trash off the floor without being asked. It was much appreciated!
Quintyn Chapman - Held the front doors open in the morning for several students and teachers who were coming in.
Aubree Chromey—Several parents were waiting to pull out of the parking lot near the PAC. Aubree was kind enough to stop and let them exit.
McKayla Eads-Bryant - McKayla took the time to put down all the chairs in my room to help me prepare for the day.
Kirkland Christy, - Kirkland has been coming in for months during my plan to clean the tables. Kirkland has helped me keep the art room clean.
Aubrey Moss—She volunteered to haul Mrs. Anderson, and I's gigantic Blick order down to our rooms and unload it. They had to haul six or seven 40-pound boxes of clay and never complained!
Ely Judy—After the 8th hour ended, several students left without putting their chairs on the table so the custodians could clean the floors. Ely stayed after class and after school to put the rest up so the custodian or I wouldn't have to.
If you see these individuals, feel free to congratulate them for showing high character while at CHS.

Tonight is our annual sock toss game. Bring a pair or pair(s) of new socks folded together to throw on the floor after the first basket made by the Hornets during the varsity boy's basketball game. All donated socks thrown onto the floor will go to the local food pantry to be donated to those in need and the homeless who need warm pairs of socks.
The girls' basketball games vs. East Buchanan and boys' basketball games vs. Moberly are at home tonight, beginning with the JV girls at 5:00 p.m., followed by varsity girls vs. East Buchanan and then varsity boys vs. Moberly.

The C/JV/V girl's basketball games at home starting at 5:00 p.m. vs. St. Pius X and the C/JV/V boy's basketball games away at Hamilton starting at 5:00 p.m. will be played this evening as scheduled. The mini cheerleaders will perform at halftime of the girl's JV game.
