Celebrating our Goal Getters for this week!

Celebrating with Hornet High Fives!

A quick glimpse of learning at CES!

We're looking ahead to next school year and can't wait to meet some of our youngest Hornets and their parents! Make sure to mark your calendar and plan on attending this special event for a look at our plans for our incoming kindergarten students in 2024-25. See you then!

Chillicothe Elementary School is elated to welcome six teachers! From left to right: Brooke Teeter (Kindergarten), Madison Book (1st grade), Kaylee Myers (2nd grade), Gabby Hall (2nd grade), Riley Brobst (4th grade), and Madelyn Wilford (5th grade). The future of CES is even brighter with the addition of these enthusiastic educators!

On Wednesday, CES hosted a "Classroom Reveal." Teachers learned where their classrooms will be for the 2024-25 school year. The excitement of three elementary schools uniting together on an amazing campus is truly contagious!

Congratulations to our "Marigolds" at Chillicothe Elementary Schools! Mrs. Ellen Hansen, Ms. Natosha Wolfe, and Mrs. Rebecca Gilliland were nominated by their peers for being an encourager, supporter and nurturer! We are so fortunate to have so many marigolds at CES! 🌼

Check out our latest aerial photos of the ongoing CES Expansion Project! Things are moving right along and we are so excited!

Look who joined the ABC Wagon Train!!! Proud of you Bryson, Ruger, Bryer, Brantley , Kembrie & Aliyah!

The Goal Getter Bell was RINGING on Friday!!! 🔔🔔🔔

Bucket Fillers at CES!
Remi from Mrs. Hansen's class is a bucket filler! Mrs. Hansen's lanyard broke and the beads fell to the floor. Remi hopped into help by restringing the lanyard! She made it as good as new!
Alayla from Mrs. Ward's class was nominated as a bucket filler by a fellow classmate because she always shares supplies with friends in need!

We'd like to give a huge shout-out to the many volunteers who work in our District and help make it the best around! You are appreciated!

A wonderful day for our Kindergarten field trip to Remington Nature Center!

April Terrific Kids are "Capable" of anything!!

This week's "Let Your Kind Shine Award" goes to Miss Emma Tan. Emma is always making good choices and has such a kind heart. Her teacher, Mrs. Bonderer says, "She is so helpful to her classmates and her teacher that she could probably run the classroom herself". Keep shining, Emma!!! ☀️💛☀️

Look at our 1st graders who "strolled" through their snap words this week!!!
