ALL of Bus 11 filled the teachers buckets by lining up quickly and quietly! This is a very respectful group!
We're excited to show the progress of the CES Expansion progress over the past few weeks! Workers are mudding the sheet rock and, in some cases, painting the walls! Interior cabinets have also arrived and underground storm drainage work is also happening. Take a look!
Today, April 4th, is National School Librarian Day. We would like to recognize our elementary librarian, Mrs. Pyrtle, who promotes literary appreciation through our school libraries, empowers students to develop critical thinking skills, and fosters a love of lifelong learning. Thank you, Mrs. Pyrtle, for fostering a love of literature and learning among our students.
We'd like to give a huge shout-out to our awesome school librarians, who work to find just the right book for our young readers and help them find countless resources and materials for them every day! You are appreciated!
Look who was sent to the Principal's office today! These students were awarded a positive phone call home for their hard work, great behavior, and leadership at CES! More phone calls to come!

Congratulations to Kayden Winkoswski! Kayden is this week's "Let Your Kind Shine" recipient. He is a kindergartner in Mrs. Black's class. Kayden is patient, respectful and most importantly kind to everyone at CES!
We would like to recognize our first and second year teachers on their growth and success this past year. Miss Davis, Miss Vinson, Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Hollie Thompson participated in the mentoring program and are wonderful educators at Chillicothe Elementary Schools! They have been lead by some great veteran mentors including Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Bonderer, and Mrs. Cavanaugh.

For nearly 40 years, March has been officially designated for the observance of Music In Our Schools Month 🎶 the time of year when music education becomes the focus of schools and communities across the nation. The purpose is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children – and to remind citizens that school is where all children should have access to music.
Join us in celebrating our very own elementary music teacher, Miss Ruthie Vinson (soon to be Mrs. Lauhoff) who brings the joy of music daily to our students at Chillicothe Elementary Schools!

Marissa from Mrs. Ewbank's class was the only kiddo who volunteered to stack the chairs in their classroom at the end of that day! Way to go!!
Brynlee from Mrs. Marriott's class quickly helped a teacher pick up some student work that the teacher had accidentally knocked off of a bulletin board! So nice!!
Bryson and Abigail from Miss. Holcer's class filled another student's bucket by saying kind words when that student felt nervous! Great job!!
Mrs. Hansen's ENTIRE class filled Coach Coult's bucket! He said they were awesome listeners and they showed outstandingly good behavior during PE!!
