Congratulations to the Chillicothe High School baseball team! With the 2-1 victory over Pleasant Hill in an extra-inning thriller at a jam-packed Shaffer Park, they have advanced to the MSHSAA State Final Four! Chillicothe will play Father Tolton Regional Catholic of Columbia in the state semifinals at the Ozark Mountain Sports Complex, located on the south end of Springfield in Ozark, on June 4th at 7:00 p.m. The winner of that game advances to the state title game, and the loser advances to the state third-place game on June 5th. Another state trophy is headed to the trophy case in the CHS commons. Hornets on Top!
