Chillicothe High School Jam the Gym Information: Chillicothe High School will be hosting it's annual Jam the Gym for the 23rd time. Please come out and support the varsity girls and boys basketball teams vs. St. Joe Benton in a pair of big conference rivalry games at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 3rd at Chillicothe High School. Many fundraising activities and fundraising games will be going on during the evening to raise funds for the Verelle Peniston School. Someone will win $100 in the annual Flight for Cash paper airplane contest along with many, many, other prizes for those that participate. Come out and support the varsity basketball teams in a big conference rivalry matchup and enjoy the fundraising events for the evening this Friday!

Students and Faculty wear letter jackets in honor of CHS supporter, James Beemer on the Anniversary week of his passing in 2016. Donations may be made to the James Beemer Memorial fund at Beemer’s Clothing to give financial support to students who want to purchase letter jackets.

Congratulations to Zao Luna, Alton Keller, and Jayce Gatson they are the R.A.K.E. award winners for the past few days. They were identified as doing the following; Zao Luna-Zao held the front door of the school open for most students as they entered the school on Friday! Alton Keller-Alton went out of his way to come to find a teacher before school started to let her know that she had left her interior lights on in her car. Thanks, Alton!! Jayce Gatson-Jayce helped another student with an issue and fixed a mechanical issue or problem in the bathroom area.
