Auto Service Technology is a program that is open to all high school graduates or equivalent, or to juniors and seniors of our sending schools. Those who are juniors and seniors will attend class three hours daily for two years to receive a full certificate. Post-High students will attend six and three-quarter hours per day for nine months to complete the program's 1080 hours of instruction.

You can find technicians/mechanics working for automobile dealerships, garages, car-care centers, gas stations, and many more locations.  Technicians/mechanics service, repair, and provide maintenance on automobiles to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.

This program will give you the highly specialized education that automotive shops and dealerships are looking for today.

Automotive technicians/mechanics are in high demand.  With a projected growth of 6% between 2016-2026, you are sure to find a place in this career field.

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics reports that as of May 2020 the nation’s median wage for an Auto Service Technician/Mechanic was $44,050.
